Global Career and Leadership Insights on Theme 'Weaving Innovation: Tencent's Public Policy and Leadership'

On November 5, Korea University Sejong Campus hosted a special lecture titled 'Weaving Innovation: Tencent's Public Policy and Leadership' featuring Danny Marti, Head of Public Affairs and Global Policy at Tencent, at Nongshim Hall. The lecture was organized to strengthen career competencies of Korea University Sejong Campus students, including international students, and to enhance understanding of Tencent's public policy initiatives.

Danny Marti currently serves as Head of Public Affairs and Global Policy at Tencent, a global technology and entertainment company. He is an expert in policy, law, and innovation, having previously served as former White House Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC), managing partner of an AMLAW 100 law firm's Washington office, Head of Global Government Affairs at RELX, and Vice President of the Global Innovation Policy Center at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The lecture consisted of an introduction to Tencent, public policy directions, global leadership case studies, and career advice for students, conducted in a dialogue format with Professor Noh Sooyeon of the Department of Chinese Studies at Korea University Sejong Campus.
